MEET OUR EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Cornell Fashion Industry Network Executive Board works to connect members with alumni mentors, and provide CFIN members with diverse opportunities in the fashion industry.
Hansika Iyer is a senior majoring in Fiber Science in the College of Human Ecology. For the past three years, Hansika has dedicated her time to overseeing the annual Fashion Speaks gala, a networking event that brings together alumni working in the fashion industry with aspiring students. She oversees the organizing of workshops, speakers, and NYC-networking trips.
Hansika spends her free time pursuing her interests in sustainability, design, student health, and her Indian heritage. is a designer for the Cornell Fashion Collective, where she collaborates with her peers on designing a collection while incorporating her own elements of sustainable design and Indian culture. She is also the Mental Health Advocacy chair for the South Asian Council for which she develops programs and organizes support groups for students in the South Asian community who struggle with Mental Health issues. She works with Dr. Tasha Lewis on finding alternative uses for recycled, biodegradable textiles. She also dances on Cornell Big Red Raas, a competitive Indian dance team.
Ryan is a sophomore majoring in Fashion Design Management with a concentration in Product Development and minoring in Business. Ryan is our current secretary and keeps us all organized!
Outside of CFIN, Ryan is an active member of CFC (Cornell Fashion Collective) as a designer. She is also a member of the Cornell University Figure Skating Club!
As for her past internship experiences, Ryan has been a design intern at DZ Group this past summer. Currently, Ryan is partaking in a branding and marketing internship for a startup makeup company.
Grace is a sophomore majoring in Fashion Design Management with a concentration in Communications, and is minoring in Spanish. Her main focus is running CFIN’s social media, including our Facebook and Instagram, to promote upcoming events and get CFIN’s name out there!
Grace has worked as Senior Editor of Mad Sounds Magazine. She has also worked at Victoria’s Secret and interned at Marchesa this past summer. In addition, she also serves as a member of the Cornell Fashion Collective (CFC) e-board as Creative Coordinator. She’s interested in a career in fashion journalism, PR, or related field.
Audrey is a sophomore majoring in Fashion Design Management with a concentration in Product Development and is minoring in Business. Audrey manages the finances of CFIN as our current treasurer.
Outside of CFIN, Audrey is a research assistant at the Cornell Costume and Textile Collection. She is also the Vice President of Finance of Kappa Delta. In addition, she is a member of CFC (Cornell Fashion Collective) as a Level 1 Designer. Audrey is also a Brother of Phi Gamma Nu Professional Business Fraternity.
As for her job and internship experiences, Audrey was the Fashion Design Head Instructor at Bass Art Studio’s Junior Design Class and a Marketing Intern at Tailored Industry.
Audrey’s dream job would be “something in product development at Levi’s”!
