ABOUT CFIN

The Cornell Fashion Industry Network (CFIN), formerly known as Careers in the Fashion Industry (CIFI), is a student-run organization at Cornell University under the Fiber Science and Apparel Design (FSAD) department. Our group serves as the direct link from Cornell’s campus to the global fashion industry. CFIN aims to facilitate relationships between students and alumni as well as teach tangible networking and professional skills.

CFIN offers a variety of different networking and guest speaker events where professionals from the industry discuss their career paths and industry experiences. Also, CFIN runs two mentorship programs, one between upperclassmen and underclassmen students and another between current CFIN members and alumni. Finally, CFIN’s biggest event of the year is our annual gala which brings the Cornell fashion community together for a discussion concerning current events in the fashion space.
