"Yes, we have shows like Say Yes to the Dress where we get to watch women finally find their perfect wedding dream dress. And then there are all those romantic comedies in which we get a great "trying on the dress" musical montage scene—the one from Sex & the City the Movie gave women heart palpitations. But we have never had a show where we got to see the career of how the dress was designed from the first very first sketches to the finished product, or had a peek at how the designer actually brings these dresses to life."

"After four years at the helm, David Koma is stepping down from his position at Mugler. His replacement is American designer Casey Cadwallader. Doesn’t ring a bell? That’s because Cadwallader has spent most of his career behind the scenes. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in architecture, he worked at TSE, Narciso Rodriguez, Loewe, and J. Mendel before returning to Narciso Rodriguez to become design director for women’s ready-to-wear and accessories."
